So, you know how I talked to you about shopping at Old Navy for Toddler boys clothes because I can browse for me too?
If you didn’t catch that one, read it here >>>Friday Favorites! Where to find the best BOY clothes!
Well I just scored on an amazing deal! I shopped online and got 10 items for $54.70 (Thats including Tax and FREE SHIPPING!!!)
If I do that math correctly, I got all 10 items for about $5.47!!!
HERE’S WHAT I GOT!!
Note: I included the prices in the picture for each item at the price I paid with the 40% discount.
DID I MENTION I GOT $30 IN SUPER CASH?!?
Well, I did! Of course I had to go back and shop again, because who throws away free money?!
This time I went shopping in store.
HERE’S WHAT I GOT!!
Note: I had to switch up some of the links because they were sold out online…But I tried to get as similar in style and price as possible! 🙂
This time I was on a mission to get some swim shirts because I bought Little J a water table. I did find one in the clearance section but the USA one was 50% off. He received one for his birthday so now he has 3 total and that’s plenty. The flip flops were purchased so he could play outside in.
I also have been on the hunt to find a shirt to match the star print shorts I ordered him at Nordstrom Rack, so I picked up this cute little Henley. I hesitated because it’s white, but that’s what bleach is for 😀
I knew I wanted to get him some “suns out guns out” tanks, so I scooped up these 3.
I saw this graphic tee, and the palm print is just so cute, I bought it too!
J needed some PJ’s in his size, I found these in the clearance section.
I couldn’t leave without scanning the women’s clearance section and I found these two gems. Actually, I found a lot more but I settled on these 2 because I didn’t want to go too crazy.
So at the end of this shopping spree, I spent $70.09 for 11 items. Which means I got each item for about $6.37.
I spent a little more on the romper but my reasoning was “Do I want to buy a bunch of inexpensive items that I kinda like or 1 item I love?” I decided on the item I loved. Guess I’m starting to realize what quality over quantity means.
I want to add that if you’re trying to be a bargain shopper, one thing to remember is to shop when there are sales that you can combine discounts. If you are not able to combine discounts, make sure you are earning extra rewards of some kind. It seriously helps in the savings department.
Also, I have noticed that I end up spending more when shopping in store for clothes because I get in the moment and trying to do the math in the corner just doesn’t work out for me all of the time. LOL Not to mention, having a significant other that chose to stay in the car with the baby calling every 5 min is just
annoying distracting. (gotta love em) Yet at the same time, I can find items that may have sold out online or weren’t available online to begin with.
When I shop online, I see the totals right in the checkout and am able to adjust accordingly. Check out My DO’S and DONT’S of Online Shopping for more tips. Both have their positives and negatives but the main thing to remember here is that Little and I are now ready for Summer!! And I think I did pretty good, if I do say so myself!!
