DIY Affordable Flower Girl Basket

I was so excited about how my DIY Flower Girl Basket turned out, I just HAD to blog about it!!

TBH… I wasn’t planning on adding the jewels to the front. BUT I had some of the string left over from my DIY Bridal Shoes and I just couldn’t let it got to waste.

This DIY was so easy to achieve and it was so affordable! I lucked out that my wedding was right after easter and I was able to snag some inexpensive woven baskets at Target. (I only paid $1.50 for each!!)

I did a little research  and found some similar ones at Hobby Lobby! No worries, they’re also similar in price!! Just click the pic to shop!

The next two key players in this DIY are the spray paint and the glue (if you are gluing on jewels).

Now for the bling!! The exact jewels that I used were sold out so I did a little research and found some super cute alternatives!

Really this DIY is as easy as 123.

  1. Spray paint basket & let dry. I sprayed 2 coats.
  2. Glue on jewels & let dry.
  3. ENJOY!

Here is my final product! I am so happy with the final result. Did I say that already? Really, I am so happy I took the DIY route.

Now I have custom flower girl baskets that match my shoes!!

I really hope you enjoyed! Don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE for more from my Wedding Series xoxo

  1. These are so cute! I remember with my own wedding just how quickly everything added up. Weddings gets so expensive!
